Well then, why don’t you bring some adventure and excitement in your life? Probably try a new and different experience? Even escape from the city and go into the wilderness and get in touch with nature? Well, here are 8 one-day camping getaways that you could try and liven up your weekend!

1. Damdama Lake Camp

You can also experience the rural life led by the villagers and get engulfed in the beauty of Aravali Valley. Around one hour drive from Delhi, Camp Mustang is located in the countryside farm of Manesar, Gurgaon. It is spread over 8 acres where you can be part of various activities like Rock Climbing, Trekking and Zorbing. You can also try your hand in Air Rifle Shooting where you would be guided by experts. Over here, star gazing can be done but along with guidance as astronomy, stargazing sessions are provided at the camp. Paintballing as well as Parasailing are other main attractions that are provided at Camp Mustang.

6. Camp Kyari, Siyat, Jim Corbett

Camp Kyari is located deep inside the jungle of  Kumaoni Village which is situated on the periphery of Jim Corbett National Park. You will hear nature calling to you while camping inside the forests and you can discover more of the wilderness during your trek through the forests. You can also go mountain biking through  the hills and follow wildlife trails as well as spot different species of birds.  Get inspired to fly and go paragliding where the winds will carry you through the various hilltops which will leave you mesmerized and make it your perfect weekend getaway.

7. The Jhajhar Khas Desert Camp, Rajasthan

Shekhawati village is known to be the largest open-air art gallery in the world as you can find most “Haveli’s” (mansions) with “Frescos” (wall paintings) on them which will leave you wonderstruck.
But do keep in mind that this camp is only open during the period of 1st October to 31st March as it is closed during summer and monsoon seasons.
